I've replaced most of mine over the last couple years and learned that going mid-range usually gives the best balance. Avoid super-cheap ones—they warp or dent easily. Solid core or MDF with veneer holds up much better for everyday use and blocks noise decently. Measure carefully though—custom sizes add time. Overall, happy with the quality and how they tie the rooms together. Worth checking if you're shopping locally.
